Pre-School 3's

Pam Tanner

I was born and raised in a small town in northwestern Missouri, the youngest of five children. I graduated from Central High School in 1977. I attended Missouri Western State College and a medical program at a local hospital and earned an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science. I am currently taking classes in Early Childhood Education. My husband and I were married in 1979 and were blessed with a beautiful baby girl in 1982. Our family relocated to McKinney in August, 1982. God blessed us with a very energetic baby boy in June, 1984. We have been members at Our Savior since 1988. I have worked in several childcare centers and taught science classes for young children at the Heard Museum. I started at Our Savior the year we opened our school and am currently enjoying my eighteenth year with Concordia Christian Academy.

“This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.” Every day is a chance to model Christ in our lives and classroom, so that the word Christian isn’t just a word in the name of our school, but a mission of our school and our hearts. I believe that every child is a gift from God and that we should celebrate each child’s unique gifts and talents. Thank you for sharing your gift with me.
