Admission/Enrollment Procedure
Concordia Christian Academy of McKinney admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. Concordia Christian Academy of McKinney does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, tuition assistance, athletics, and other school administered programs.

 

Steps Required for Admission

  • Complete the application and return to the school office with the following:
    • Copy of birth certificate. A child must be 5 years old by September 1, in order to enter Kindergarten and 6 years old by September 1, in order to enter first grade.
    • Current immunization record.
    • Copy of most recent report cards, latest standardized test results and copies of any evaluations for reading.
    • If your child has had previous special testing for learning difficulties or physical disorders such as ADD, ADHD, etc., please include copies of the report(s)
    • Complete and submit the Request for Transfer of School Records form to your child's present school. You will need to provide the school with a stamped envelope addressed to CCA.
    • Submit Confidential Recommendation Forms to the child’s principal and and have them returned to Concordia Christian Academy by mail. You will need to provide the principal and teacher with stamped envelopes addressed to CCA.
  • When all admissions materials have been received, an admissions evaluation time will be scheduled for your child.
  • After the evaluation a parent-student interview with the Administrator will be scheduled.
  • You will be notified as soon as possible after the interview of the school’s decision regarding the applicant. If the decision is to accept the child, admissions paper work will be included
  • Students are not eligible for acceptance until all forms are completed and received.  Your spot cannot be held if all the required information is not completed
