Kindergarten
Carolyn Schneider
Born and raised in St. Charles, Missouri, my parents gave me the wonderful gift of attending Immanuel Lutheran School . It was at Immanuel that I knew God would be calling me into the teaching ministry. Not only that, He was calling me to be the wife of Pastor Jack Schneider. Jack and I have had the wonderful blessing of serving many Lutheran congregations during our 40 years of marriage. We have three beautiful children, Aaron, Marc, and Karen. Our family has been blessed to have the additions of daughter-in-law Megan and granddaughter Adriana. I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from Texas Weslyan University in Fort Worth, Texas. I have had the joy of being nominated as Lutheran Educator of the Year and Early Childhood Educator of the year. God has called me to the teaching ministry and sustained me with great joy in it for over 30 years. Throughout this career, I have had the honor of teaching students in Kindergarten – 8th Grade. Before coming to Concordia Christian Academy, I served as Principal of Hope Lutheran School in Lubbock, Texas. CCA has been my teaching home since August of 2002. Once again, God has called me into the Principal roll while being given the opportunity to teach Kindergarteners part-time.
My goal in teaching is to teach my Kindergarteners independence and responsibility as they experience God’s love and forgiveness in His classroom family. I believe the students best grow in confidence through the use of multi-sensory approaches. Through this style of learning, students enjoy all aspects of the Kindergarten curriculum. As a Christian Educator, it’s my privilege to nurture each child physically, socially, academically and spiritually to be His light on a hill. Matthew 5:14 You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.
