Preschool

The Preschool program at Concordia Christian Academy of McKinney is available to children ages two through three years old. The preschool program is focused on helping young children come to know and rejoice in God’s love. Each child is challenged to develop his/her potential through the use of age and developmentally appropriate materials and activities. The learning environment consists of hands-on experiences, as well as the ability to be active in the learning process. The Preschool program strives to help each child approach life and its challenges with confidence and joy!

Pre-Kindergarten

The Pre-kindergarten program at Concordia Christian Academy of McKinney is available to children age four to five years old. The curriculum has been developed to include age-appropriate experiences, while still providing the needed challenge to facilitate each child’s growth. The Pre-Kindergarten program focuses on the following seven concepts:

1)      Spiritual Development
2)      Self-Esteem
3)      Creative Expression
4)      Social Interaction
5)      Large and small muscle development
6)      Self-expression and communication
7)      Intellectual growth

Each classroom is designed to contain learning centers, which provide for hands-on activities in the areas of math, science, music, reading readiness, technology, and art.
