Gymnastics Curriculum: Students will participate in a gymnastics program that will instill self-confidence and personal esteem. In addition, students will be taught strength and flexibility and basic tumbling and balancing skills. Students will learn the importance of beginning a healthy exercise routine. The program is devoted to the development of helping the child to be successful in the future, to set goals and achieve them, and to experience fun and adventure through exercise.
Martial Arts Curriculum: The study of martial arts is all about using the skills as a motivational tool to teach life skills rather than just as an activity. Students will be taught warm-up and warm-down exercises; safety factors of martial arts instruction; basic stance, principle of techniques including theory of defensive; physical, technical and mental factors of training; elementary movements of twist, escape method, kick, punch, block and throw. The students will experience a great tool for instilling confidence, discipline, and better listening skills through participation of Martial Arts study.
Physical Education Curriculum: The physical education program provides the student an opportunity to experience a broad base of fitness and skill development activities. The program is structured so that each child can increase competence in physical fitness, body management, visual-tactile coordination, rhythmic awareness and related motor skills. Discussions on the values of fitness for a healthy life are also a regular part of the student learning process.
