Extended Care

 

This program is designed to give working parents a caring and safe place for their children before and after school. The Extended Care Supervision (ECS) program provides before and after school care for children who are enrolled in a school program at Concordia Christian Academy. Before school care is available from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. After school care is provided from 3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

 

Morning Extended Care    7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.

This time has been set aside as quiet time. The children are allowed to watch a video, color, work puzzles, read, do homework, or other quiet activities.

 

Afternoon Extended Care    3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

The afternoon hours will include working on any homework assigned, but is mostly active play.  The children will start out with a parent provided snack and drink. Weather permitting, they will then go outside for some active playtime. Although your child will always be with an adult, the afternoon is much less structured. We hope this allows the time to pass quickly while they wait to be picked up.

 

Extended Care Fees

Extended care is billed on an hourly usage rate of $4.00 per hour, and billed to the family on a monthly basis.

 

Late Pick-up Fee - $1.00 per minute, after 6:00 pm.
